2025 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 Launched at Rs. 3.79 Lakh With OBD2B Engine

Kawasaki India launches the Versys-X 300 at a price of Rs 3.79 lakh ex showroom. The latest model is Rs. 1 lakh cheaper than the previous model because many of the bike components are sourced locally. The bike was launched to cater to beginner riders who are looking for adventure tourer bikes. It rivals the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure, and the newly launched Honda Rebel 500. New OBD-2B Compliant Engine

The 296cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine powers the Kawasaki Versys-X 300, and it complies with the latest OBD-2B norms. The brand utilises the same engine as the Ninja 300, which produces 38.8 bhp of power and 26 Nm of peak torque. Together with a six-speed gearbox, it has a slip and assist clutch for smooth gear shifting.

Design & Features

Featuring an upswept exhaust, a windscreen, and semi-fairing, the 2025 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 has a tall posture. Kawasaki offered this bike in two dual-tone colour options, which are Metallic Ocean Blue and Pearl Robotic White, and Candy Lime Green 3 and Metallic Flat Spark Black. Its long-distance travelling capacity is further enhanced by a large rear grab rail with an integrated baggage rack.

In terms of features, it has a digital instrument dashboard with a multi-function LCD console, an analogue tachometer, and a gear position indicator. However, it lacks smartphone connectivity and navigation.

Notably, LED lights are still used throughout the lighting arrangement, which is always a good thing. Additionally, Kawasaki does provide touring accessories like a centre stand, fog lamps, knuckle protectors, and panniers.

Specifications

The 2025 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 comes with a gas-charged shock and spring preload adjustability, and a telescopic front fork. All of these are supported on a backbone frame. It has wire-spoke wheels that are 17 inches in the back and 19 inches in the front.

In contrast to some competitors' tubeless tyres, they have tubed tyres. It has an 815mm seat height, 180mm ground clearance, and 179kg kerb weight. Additionally, it comes with a 17-litre fuel tank, and single-channel ABS petal disc brakes on both ends.
