Yamaha XSR155 Price Update with New Black Colour

Yamaha Motor Company has increased the prices of the Yamaha XSR155 in India. In addition, the company has introduced a new Metallic Black colour scheme. Earlier, all four available shades were priced at Rs. 1,49,990 ex-showroom Delhi. However, the revised pricing now varies depending on the selected colour. Therefore, buyers will notice different price tags across the updated lineup.

New Metallic Black added to lineup

The XSR155 earlier did not offer a black paint option in India. However, Yamaha has now filled that gap with the Metallic Black shade. This new version features a complete black finish across the tank and body panels. Moreover, the Yamaha logo is clearly visible on the fuel tank surface. It is also the only colour scheme that gets gold finished inverted front forks. Therefore, this shade gives the motorcycle a slightly distinct appearance compared to other variants.

Engine and rivals remain unchanged

Mechanically, the Yamaha XSR155 remains unchanged despite the price revision. It continues with a 155cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine featuring Variable Valve Actuation technology. The engine produces 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm of peak torque. However, there are no updates to features or hardware components. The motorcycle continues to rival the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 in the entry level retro roadster segment.
