The Yamaha MT-15 V2 has received a small price increase in India from April 1, 2026. Therefore, buyers will now pay slightly more depending on the selected variant & colour option. The overall increase ranges between Rs. 740 & Rs. 800 across variants. However, there are no updates in design, features, or engine setup after this revision. Moreover, this change comes with the start of the new financial year, which is a common time for such updates.

No mechanical changes in the bike

The motorcycle continues with the same 155cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine setup. Moreover, this engine produces 18.14 bhp and 14.1 Nm, paired with a six speed gearbox. In addition, the bike comes with a slip and assist clutch, which helps during quick gear shifts.

Features and hardware remain unchanged

The bike is built on a diamond frame & uses an inverted fork setup at the front. However, the rear section gets a monoshock suspension, which supports daily riding conditions. Moreover, braking duties are managed by disc brakes on both ends with dual channel ABS.
The standard variant includes an LCD display, while the DLX TFT variant offers a TFT screen. In addition, the TFT console supports navigation, call alerts, and SMS updates through smartphone connectivity.
Rivals in the segment
The Yamaha MT-15 V2 continues to compete with models such as the KTM 160 Duke & the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. However, this small price revision is unlikely to change buyer interest in this segment.
