Last week, India’s two-wheeler market kept bike fans excited even without any major new motorcycle or scooter launches. The excitement instead came from important updates, fresh special editions, & a recall that kept riders talking across the country.
From Kawasaki’s new Ninja ZX-10R to Yamaha’s upcoming product launch, every announcement carried something for the riders. Moreover, Ducati and TVS added fresh models while Honda stepped in with a global recall campaign.
Last week was not only about fresh launches but also about anticipation, safety features, & design improvements. While high-end motorcycles stole the limelight with new updates, scooters presented & new versions for daily commuters.
Besides that, an important recall guaranteed that safety to be a top priority. All these combined gave rise to a healthy mix of performance, functionality, and responsibility in the motorcycling realm. Here's all that made headlines throughout the week.
Kawasaki launched the 2026 Ninja ZX-10R in India with a price tag of Rs. 19.49 Lakh. However, the motorcycle has seen a price hike of Rs. 99,000 over the previous 2025 version.
Moreover, the new model records a slight drop in performance, producing 193.1 bhp and 112 Nm. This is around 7 bhp and 2.9 Nm lower than before, though other areas remain unchanged.
Ducati India introduced the 2025 Multistrada V4 range, with prices starting at Rs. 22.98 Lakh. In addition to that, the top-spec variant with spoked wheels is priced at Rs. 30.18 Lakh.
The model comes with a 1,158cc V4 liquid-cooled engine generating 167.62 bhp of power & 124 Nm of torque. However, it now features an extended cylinder deactivation system and an automatic lowering device for added convenience.
TVS launched the Jupiter Stardust Black special edition in India at Rs. 93,031. The scooter receives an all-black paint scheme with chrome highlights on the exhaust shield.
Moreover, bronze finishes for badges and the TVS logo add contrast to the design. Positioned above the Disc SXC variant, this edition is now the most expensive model in the Jupiter lineup.
Honda recalled its CRF1100L Africa Twin motorcycles manufactured between 2019 and 2025. The issue involves the harness wire attached to the left handle switch.
Due to handlebar movement, the wire bends repeatedly, causing oxidation at the joint terminal. Hence, it can create electrical conduction issues. Moreover, this recall is part of Honda’s global safety campaign.
Yamaha announced a new launch in India scheduled for 11 November 2025. Although the invite does not confirm the product, expectations suggest the arrival of the XSR 155 or the Nmax 155.
However, Yamaha might surprise buyers with both products, as both have already generated strong interest among enthusiasts.
