TVS Motor Company has introduced a new special edition of its popular scooter, the TVS Jupiter. This new model is called the Stardust Black edition and is priced at Rs 93,031 (ex-showroom). It now becomes the most expensive version of the Jupiter, sitting above the top-spec Disc SmartXonnect variant. Let’s know more about this top variant of TVS Jupiter 110.
The Jupiter Stardust Black focuses only on style and looks. It does not get any mechanical changes. The scooter comes in an all-black paint scheme that gives it a bold and premium appearance.
To break the monotony, TVS has added a chrome finish on the exhaust cover. In addition, the Jupiter badges and TVS logo get a bronze finish, making them stand out. There is also a special bronze badge that highlights Jupiter as the “Most Awarded Scooter of India.”
Much like the Disc SmartXonnect variant, the Stardust Black edition does not come with a kick-start option. However, buyers can add it later as a dealer accessory. The scooter continues to offer SmartXonnect features, which include voice assistance, navigation, call and SMS notifications, distance-to-empty, and average fuel economy readings.
The special edition Jupiter is powered by the same 113.3 cc, air-cooled engine. It produces 7.91 bhp of power and 9.8 Nm of torque, which is paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. Furthermore, this scooter gets telescopic front suspension and a twin-tube rear shock absorber with 3-step adjustment. The TVS scooty also has a 220 mm disc at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear.
