Upcoming Two Wheelers in September 2026: New Bikes and Scooters to Watch

September 2026 is expected to bring several new two wheelers to India, with motorcycles and scooters from multiple brands in focus. The upcoming two wheelers in September 2026 will cover adventure motorcycles, modern classics, premium performance bikes, electric motorcycles, and scooters.

Royal Enfield, Bajaj, Triumph, Norton, BMW, Ducati, Aprilia, Ultraviolette, and Simple Energy are among the brands expected to add new products. Buyers planning to bring a new two wheeler home can use this list to decide which two wheeler suits them best.

Upcoming two wheelers in September 2026

The expected September lineup spans two wheelers priced around Rs 2 lakh to more than Rs 40 lakh. This gives buyers options across very different segments.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 440

Royal Enfield Himalayan 440

The Himalayan 440 is the strongest confirmed launch among the September two wheelers. Royal Enfield has scheduled its launch for September 4 in Ladakh.

The Royal Enfield bike is expected to sit below the Himalayan 450. It could use a 443cc air oil cooled single cylinder engine from the Scram 440.

The engine is expected to produce around 25.4bhp and 34Nm. A six speed gearbox is also expected.

Key points:

  • Upright riding position
  • Large front wheel
  • Long travel suspension
  • More wind protection
  • Focus on touring and light off roading

The estimated price of the upcoming Royal Enfield bike sits around Rs 2.4 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh. This could make it a simpler alternative to the Himalayan 450.

Bajaj's New Adventure Bike

Bajaj Adventure Bike

Bajaj is also expected to bring its first proper adventure motorcycle. Its exact launch date is unconfirmed for now. Spy shots show a sport adventure design with long travel suspension and spoke wheels. A 19 inch front and 17 inch rear setup has also been reported.

The upcoming Bajaj bike could get a 250cc single cylinder engine, and the brand may position it strongly in the competitive 250cc category. It is expected to be priced around Rs 2 lakh, and do keep in mind that the September timeline is tentative.

Triumph Bonneville 400

Triumph Bonneville 400

Meanwhile, the Triumph Bonneville 400 is expected to join the brand's 400cc range. Current industry listings show it could be launched in September, estimated at around Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.2 lakh. It is expected to target buyers wanting classic styling with easier everyday usability.

The Triumph bike could rival models such as the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350. Recent reports suggest it will use a different chassis and revised cycle parts.

Honda CB500

Honda CB500

The Honda CB500 is also listed by some platforms for September. However, other current sources now indicate a later October timeline. Therefore, buyers should treat its September arrival as uncertain. The motorcycle is expected to use a 501cc single cylinder engine.

It could sit between the Harley Davidson X440 and Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. Its estimated price ranges from Rs 2.8 lakh to Rs 3.15 lakh.

Ultraviolette Shockwave

Ultraviolette Shockwave

Ultraviolette's Shockwave brings an electric option to the expected September lineup. It carries an estimated price tag of around Rs 1.75 lakh. Listings claim a 165km range paired with a top speed of 120kph. Decent numbers for a bike aimed at city riding.

The Ultraviolette electric bike also comes with traction control, and it reportedly offers multiple levels of regenerative braking, too. These features could make it appealing to urban riders, especially those wanting a lighter, more manageable electric option.

Norton Manx and Manx R

Norton Manx and Manx R

Norton is also expected to launch the Manx and Manx R in India. Both are tipped to arrive around September. These motorcycles will sit in the premium superbike segment. They'll cost significantly more than mainstream bikes on the market.

The Norton Manx is expected to be priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 22 lakh. The Norton bike runs on a 1200cc V4 engine, which is expected to produce around 206 hp and 130 Nm of torque.

The Manx R sits a notch higher, priced between Rs 24 lakh and Rs 26 lakh. It shares the same 1200cc V4 platform as the standard Manx. This variant clearly targets buyers chasing serious performance over everyday usability.

BMW R nineT Racer

BMW R nineT Racer

BMW could also bring the R nineT Racer to India. Its September timeline remains tentative, with low launch confidence.

The BMW bike is expected to use a 1,170cc engine producing around 107bhp. Its estimated price stands around Rs 17 lakh to Rs 18 lakh.

This positioning puts it in a niche performance segment rather than the everyday two wheeler market.

Ducati Diavel V4 RS

Ducati Diavel V4 RS

Diavel V4 RS is another premium motorcycle expected in September. It is estimated to be priced between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 44 lakh.

However, Ducati has not confirmed its Indian launch details. The Ducati bike, therefore, remains a high end possibility for September buyers.

Aprilia SXR 175

Aprilia SXR 175

The Aprilia SXR 175 is expected to add a premium scooter option to the September lineup. The Aprilia scooter could target riders wanting a larger scooter for daily commuting and longer rides. Aprilia is yet to confirm its final price, specifications, and launch details.

Simple Wave

Simple Wave

The Simple Wave will launch in India on September 2, adding another electric scooter to the September lineup. It could appeal to urban riders seeking an EV for daily commuting. Simple Energy is yet to reveal its final price and detailed specifications.

What buyers should know

September could offer several interesting two wheelers before the festive buying season. However, buyers should separate confirmed launches from tentative listings.

The Simple Wave and Himalayan 440 currently have the clearest September launch plans. The other two wheelers have varying levels of launch confidence.
