TVS Motor Company has launched its most advanced version of the TVS Raider 125, which makes a strong statement in the 125cc segment. The bike is priced at Rs 95,600 for the TFT Dual Disc version and Rs 93,800 for the SXC Dual Disc version (ex-showroom). TVS has packed the Raider with several first-in-segment features that focus on performance, safety, and technology.
The Raider continues to use the 125cc 3-valve engine that produces 11.75 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. However, the highlight is the new Boost Mode with iGO Assist. This feature provides a quick surge of power during acceleration, which makes overtakes and quick moves more exciting.
In addition, the bike comes with Glide Through Technology (GTT), which allows it to move smoothly at low speeds without the rider constantly using the throttle. This is especially helpful in city traffic, as it improves both fuel efficiency and riding comfort.
TVS has added Dual Disc Brakes with single-channel ABS, which makes the Raider the first 125cc motorcycle in India to get this setup. This provides better control and stability during braking.
The bike now rides on wider tyres, including 90/90-17 at the front and 110/80-17 at the rear, which improve grip and cornering confidence on different surfaces. There’s also a useful addition in the Follow Me Headlamp feature, which keeps the headlight on for a few seconds even after turning off the ignition. This helps riders navigate dark parking spaces more easily.
Visually, the Raider gets a new metallic silver finish with red alloy wheels, which gives it a sporty appeal.
When it comes to technology, riders can choose between two digital display options: a full TFT cluster with over 99 features or a reverse LCD with more than 85 features. Both come with TVS SmartXonnect™, which supports Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist, turn-by-turn navigation, call handling, and notification alerts.
