The TVS Orbiter V1 now costs Rs. 91,500 in Delhi, up from Rs. 87,800. In Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, its price has increased from Rs. 91,800 to Rs. 95,500. However, Maharashtra has not received a price revision. The V1 continues to cost Rs. 91,800 in the state.

Orbiter V2 Gets Up to Rs. 4,000 Hike

The Orbiter V2 gets a Rs. 3,900 price increase in Delhi, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, Maharashtra sees the highest hike of Rs. 4,000. Its effective ex-showroom price now ranges from Rs. 1.06 lakh to Rs. 1.13 lakh, depending on the state.

In addition, TVS has not made any mechanical or feature changes. The Orbiter continues to target urban riders looking for an affordable electric scooter. The V1 uses a 1.8kWh battery with a claimed IDC range of 86km. The V2 gets a larger 3.1kWh battery with a claimed range of 158km.

Both variants offer a claimed top speed of 68kmph and get Eco and City riding modes. Perhaps the price hike may affect buyers looking for a budget electric scooter. However, the Orbiter continues to offer two battery choices for different riding needs.
