TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition Launches in Philippines: Here’s What to Know

Indian 2-wheeler brand TVS Motor Company announced the launch of their new TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition Scooter in the Philippines on Monday, 17 April. The company introduced the scooter at the Makina Auto Show. 

With this sporty premium scooter, the automaker hopes to increase its two-wheeler market share in the nation. Additionally, according to the firm, it hopes to attract a younger customer base favouring sporty scooters with the TVS Ntorq Race Edition scooter.

TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition: Features & Design Elements

TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition scooter features daytime running lights along with an LED headlamp. In addition, it also features danger lamps that add to user convenience. 

The TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition has TVS SmartXonnectTM, which enables the rider to connect their smartphone to the scooter and unlock a variety of smart connected features. The modern, fully digital instrument cluster is where the functions will be accessible.

In terms of the other visual components, the scooter has visuals of a chequered flag and the wording “Race Edition” on it. It is available in 3 distinct colour options - 

• Matte Black, 
• Metallic Black, and 
• Metallic Red.

TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition: Technical Aspects

At the heart of TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition lies a 124.8 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled SOHC, fuel-injected engine. The 124.8 cc engine can easily belt out 9.25 bhp of maximum power at 7,000 rpm & 10.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. 

In addition, this TVS scooter can reach a top speed of 90 kmph and can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in only 9.1 seconds.
