TVS Motor Company has launched the updated 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V with useful upgrades. This time, the focus stays on adding premium features across all variants. In addition, features that were earlier limited now come as standard.
The motorcycle now gets a Class-D projector headlamp with LED DRLs. As a result, night visibility should improve significantly. Moreover, the full LED lighting setup gives the bike a sharper road presence.
The bike also gets a key update as the assist and slipper clutch. This feature improves comfort in city riding. It also helps during quick downshifts, which makes rides smoother and more controlled.

The 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V lineup now includes three distinct variants. The base single-channel ABS variant comes with telescopic forks and a digital LCD display. It offers simple features at a lower price point. In addition, it comes in Matte Black and Racing Red colours.
The mid variant adds upside-down forks and dual-channel ABS. It also includes adjustable levers for better control. The top variant includes a 5-inch TFT display with SmartXonnect and traction control. Therefore, it offers the most advanced features in the lineup.

The motorcycle continues with the same 159.7cc single-cylinder engine. This engine is already known for its strong performance in the segment. In Sport mode, it produces around 17.6 hp with strong throttle response. However, power reduces slightly in Urban and Rain modes for better control. This makes the bike suitable for different riding conditions.
In addition, the bike includes three ride modes that adjust performance as needed. Therefore, riders can switch based on traffic or weather conditions.
The Apache RTR 160 4V continues to offer a balanced riding experience. It comes with radial tyres, which improve grip and stability. In addition, the hydroformed handlebar helps in better steering precision. This improves confidence during cornering and quick movements.
The SmartXonnect system adds turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts. Therefore, riders get better connectivity during daily rides. TVS has priced the base variant at around Rs. 1.25 lakh. The mid variant costs around Rs. 1.30 lakh, while the top version goes up to Rs. 1.37 lakh.
