Royal Enfield has joined hands with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) for a two year partnership to promote motorcycle tourism across the state. The programme will run from 2026 to 2028 and will focus on wildlife, heritage, culture and responsible riding.

The partnership has started with a 10 day, 1,520 km motorcycle expedition across Madhya Pradesh. The first ride began on October 1, 2026, with 20 riders from different parts of India. All riders are using the recently launched Royal Enfield Bullet 650.

The expedition starts and ends in Bhopal, covering destinations such as Pachmarhi, Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Panna. In addition, the route includes a visit to the famous Khajuraho temples, giving riders a mix of motorcycle travel, wildlife and local culture.

The first stretch covers around 200 km from Bhopal to Pachmarhi, followed by a 260 km ride to Pench. Riders then travel 205 km to Kanha and 270 km to Bandhavgarh. From there, the group heads 200 km to Panna before visiting Khajuraho.

Wildlife and Cultural Experiences

The journey also includes wildlife safaris at Pench, Kanha and Bandhavgarh. Moreover, riders will visit Pachdhar Potters Village and interact with the local Baiga community during the expedition.

Perhaps the biggest riding challenge comes towards the end, with a 385 km ride from Panna to Bhopal. The route combines forest roads, jungle corridors, ghats and highways.

Royal Enfield and MPTB Plan More Rides

The two year partnership will include more motorcycle experiences across Madhya Pradesh. In addition to the current expedition, Royal Enfield and MPTB plan to introduce heritage rides, off road trail explorations and other  experience-led motorcycle journeys.

The first expedition is scheduled to conclude in Bhopal on October 9, with a closing ceremony featuring regional cultural performances. The complete programme covers 1,520 km over 10 days, giving riders an opportunity to explore Madhya Pradesh beyond regular tourist routes.
