Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spied: Here’s What Buyers Can Expect

Royal Enfield has once again been spotted testing the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750, this time in what appears to be its most production ready form yet. The latest spy images surfaced on August 5 and reveal several new details, including touring accessories, alloy wheels, and a headlight protection grille.

The Royal Enfield Bike is expected to debut globally at EICMA 2026 before reaching India. These updates suggest Royal Enfield is now in the final stages of development for its upcoming flagship adventure motorcycle.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: What Do New Spy Shots Reveal?

The latest test mule looks almost ready for production. Unlike earlier prototypes, this version carries accessories that could become part of the official catalogue.

Key highlights from the latest spy shots:

  • Hard panniers mounted on both sides
  • Headlight protection grille
  • Alloy wheels on the test bike
  • Tall windscreen
  • Upswept exhaust
  • Large fuel tank for touring
  • Split seat setup
  • Long travel suspension

The panniers suggest Royal Enfield is testing the motorcycle for long distance touring. The headlight grille also points to improved protection during off road rides.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Engine and Expected Performance

Royal Enfield has not revealed official specifications yet. However, reports suggest the motorcycle will use a new 750cc air/oil cooled parallel twin engine based on the company's existing twin cylinder platform.

Expected specifications include:

  • Around 750cc parallel twin engine
  • Approximately 55 60 hp
  • Around 60 65 Nm torque
  • Six speed gearbox
  • Dual channel ABS
  • Switchable riding modes (expected)

The larger engine is expected to deliver stronger highway performance than the current Himalayan 450 while remaining suitable for long distance touring.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Rivals

Once launched, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is expected to compete with premium middleweight adventure motorcycles. These include the Suzuki V Strom 800DE, Honda XL750 Transalp, and BMW F 900 GS Adventure.

Royal Enfield is expected to position the Himalayan 750 below many international rivals in terms of price while offering a larger capacity adventure tourer.

What Does It Mean for Buyers?

The latest test sightings indicate that the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is moving closer to production. Buyers looking for a larger adventure motorcycle than the Himalayan 450 may not have to wait much longer.

The motorcycle is expected to offer better touring ability, higher cruising performance, and greater luggage carrying capability than Royal Enfield's current adventure lineup. If the expected pricing of Rs 4 lakh to Rs 4.5 lakh remains competitive, it could become an attractive option for riders.

Royal Enfield has not announced an official launch date yet. However, the production version is widely expected to debut at EICMA 2026, followed by its India launch soon after.
