Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Caught Testing Again! Here’s What We Know So Far

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has been in the works for a long time now, and recently, we have gotten more spy shots. These spy shots look like the model might now be in the final stage of testing before the launch. 

Fortunately, we have a ton of details on the upcoming RE Himalayan 450, and these spy shots are just the cherry on top. Looking at the leaked images, the design language shares major similarities with the Himalayan 411. However, the new Himalayan looks more muscular and beefy. It was also seen sporting a luggage top box & side panniers that may be a part of the range of available accessories for the bike. 

It is also a major possibility that the Himalayan 450 will be run on spoked wheels with tube tyres. We are also majorly aware that this ADV bike will come with a retro-modern TFT console with an analog-style tachometer. It will further boast a digital trip meter, odometer, speedometer & gear-position indicator. RE might also give the Himalayan 450 a rotary-style switchgear like its other bikes in the lineup. 

As for the engine specs, the upcoming RE Himalayan 450 will source its power from an all-new liquid-cooled, 450 cc engine that will churn out the same power output as KTM 390 Adventure (43.5 PS & 37 Nm). 

This highly anticipated bike is expected to launch in September 2023. However, with the brand teasing new Bullet 350 to be launched in the same period, the launch of Himalayan 450 may shift to the end of this year.
