Kawasaki Says Goodbye (For Now) to Versys 1000 in India

Kawasaki has removed the Versys 1000 adventure tourer from its Indian website, sparking speculation about its future in the market. While there is no official confirmation yet, sources suggest this move could pave the way for a new, upgraded model expected later this year.
 

The Versys 1000 is known for its smooth, powerful engine and comfortable touring capabilities. This bike was powered by a 1043 cc inline-four engine known for its great cruising abilities but seems to have reached the end of its current Indian chapter. 
 

Despite its touring strengths, including spacious seats, an upright riding position, and adjustable wind protection, the Versys 1000's styling, with its 17-inch wheels and large bodywork, sometimes divided opinions. However, its surprisingly manoeuvrable nature, even in tight spaces, was a point of appreciation.
 

While sales figures weren't exceptional, the Versys 1000 found a niche in the Indian market. Motorcycle enthusiasts eagerly await the next iteration, potentially arriving by year-end. Rumours hint at more features, updated electronics, and possibly an E20-compliant engine to meet emission standards.
