Kawasaki Cuts Price of Versys 1100 with Rs. 1.10 Lakh Offer

Kawasaki has introduced a special discount on its Versys 1100 motorcycle in India. Buyers can now save up to Rs. 1.10 lakh on the ex-showroom price of the bike.

The offer is valid till 30 September or until stocks are sold out. Moreover, Kawasaki has rolled out this discount ahead of the new GST rates, which will make its motorcycles costlier from 22 September.

Kawasaki has announced a cashback discount of up to Rs. 1.10 lakh on its Versys 1100. The voucher is redeemable against the bike’s ex-showroom price, which stands at Rs. 12.90 lakh in India. However, the registration cost and insurance will still be calculated as per the full ex-showroom value.

Reason Behind the Discount

The company has introduced this offer to improve sales and reduce inventory before the revised GST rates. Most Kawasaki models fall under the 40 per cent tax bracket. Hence, customers can expect a considerable price increase once the new GST rates come into effect from 22 September.

Engine and Performance

The Kawasaki Versys 1100 comes with a 1,099cc, inline-four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It generates 99.0 kW of power at 9,000 rpm & a peak torque of 112 Nm at 7,600rpm. In addition to that, the engine also has a six-speed gearbox, providing a strong balance of performance and touring ability.
