Honda Activa Hits 35 Million Sales in 24 Years of Success

Honda Activa has achieved a milestone in its existence as India's favorite scooter. The company recently surpassed the 35 million sales figure, accomplishing this within 24 years of being launched in 2001. This includes the sales of the Activa 110, Activa 125, and the old Activa-i. Honda gained strong trust among customers over the years, and the Activa is still the favorite among Indian commuters.

Activa's Growth Through the Years

The Honda Activa reached the 10 million sales milestone for the first time in 2015, following a good decade of growth. Remarkably, it only took three years to accumulate another 10 million units, reaching 20 million in 2018. The previous decade alone contributed 20 million units, reflecting the scooter's consistent popularity. Thus, this milestone shows Honda's steady ascendancy and dominance in the scooter market.

The Activa remains India's top-selling scooter due to its simple design and quick performance. Honda's 25th Anniversary Party

Apart from this milestone, Honda also marked its 25th anniversary in India. The company marked the occasion by introducing the 25th Anniversary Editions of the Activa 110, Activa 125, and SP 125. The following editions offers special livery, unique badging, and a bit of price premium over regular versions. Thus, Honda's celebration is only matching the brand's success of reaching 35 million Activa units, a double milestone in its Indian journey.
