
FADA has released the June 2026 two-wheeler retail sales data, showing strong growth in the Indian market. A total of 1,828,458 units were sold in June 2026, compared to 1,508,378 units in June 2025. This reflects an impressive 21.22% year-on-year increase, driven by rising demand across both ICE and electric two-wheelers.

Hero MotoCorp remained the market leader with 472,144 units sold in June 2026, compared to 401,803 units last year. This resulted in a 17.51% YoYgrowth. However, its market share declined by 3.08%, indicating stronger competition.
Honda secured the second position with 452,754 units, up from 374,971 units. The company posted a 20.74% sales growth, with a slight 0.40% decline in market share.
TVS delivered a solid performance, selling 359,243 units compared to 292,639 units last year. This marked a 22.76% year-on-year growth, along with a 1.29% increase in market share. This growth is driven by the sales of popular models like TVS Ntorq 150 and TVS Raider 125.
Bajaj Auto sold 188,145 units, up from 165,733 units. This reflects a 13.52% sales growth, though its market share dropped by 6.37%.
Suzuki recorded 105,057 units, compared to 90,429 units last year. The brand saw a 16.18% YoY growth, but market share declined by 4.17%.
Royal Enfield posted strong growth with 94,548 units, up from 75,386 units. This reflects a 25.42% year-on-year increase, along with a 3.40% rise in market share. Some of the popular models that helped in this growth are Hunter 350 and RE Himalayan 450.
Yamaha reported 67,696 units, compared to 50,234 units last year. The company registered a 34.76% sales growth, with market share increasing by 11.11%.
Ather Energy continued its rapid expansion, selling 31,230 units compared to 16,015 units last year. This resulted in a 95.00% YoY growth, along with a 61.32% jump in market share. This huge increase is led by popular electric scooters including Ather Rizta and 450S.
Ola Electric saw a decline, selling 16,150 units versus 20,697 units last year. This reflects a 21.97% drop, with market share falling by 35.77%.
Greaves Electric posted significant growth with 10,930 units, up from 4,310 units. The company recorded a massive 153.60% YoY growth, along with a 106.90% rise in market share.
Classic Legends registered 4,515 units, compared to 2,106 units last year. This shows a 114.39% sales growth, with market share increasing by 78.57%.
River Mobility delivered exceptional growth, selling 4,399 units versus 1,399 units. This reflects a 214.44% YoY growth, along with a 166.67% rise in market share. This huge growth is driven by their popular model: River Indie.
BGauss sold 3,917 units, up from 1,975 units. This resulted in a 98.33% sales growth, with market share increasing by 61.54%.
Piaggio recorded 3,263 units, compared to 2,475 units last year. The company saw a 31.84% growth, with market share improving by 12.50%.
The “Others Including EV” category sold 14,467 units, up from 8,206 units. This reflects a 76.30% year-on-year growth, along with a 46.30% increase in market share.
Overall, June 2026 witnessed strong momentum in the two-wheeler segment with over 21% YoY growth. While leading players like Hero MotoCorp and Bajaj Auto experienced pressure on market share, brands such as TVS, Yamaha, and Royal Enfield gained traction. The electric segment continued its rapid rise, with Ather, Greaves, and River Mobility emerging as key growth drivers in the market.
