Ducati has opened a service only workshop in Ahmedabad to expand its after sales network in India. The facility focuses on maintenance and repair services instead of motorcycle sales. Therefore, Ducati owners in Gujarat will receive easier access to regular servicing and genuine spare parts. The workshop operates under authorised dealer FuelMoto Works and becomes the second service only facility launched by the brand in India after Goa.
Ducati has started operations at its new service-only workshop in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The facility is located at Survey No. 163/2 beside JJ Motors Road on LJ College Road in Makarba. The location allows access for riders across the city & nearby regions.
The workshop covers around 2,800 square feet of space. It includes two automated service bays designed for motorcycle inspection and maintenance. In addition, the facility contains a display section for Ducati apparel and official merchandise.
A customer lounge is also available for owners during service visits. Therefore, Ducati riders in Gujarat now have a dedicated location for routine maintenance and repair work.
The service only format differs from a traditional dealership because it does not sell motorcycles. Instead, the facility focuses entirely on maintenance and after sales support.
This model allows the company to expand its service presence in more cities. Moreover, the setup requires lower investment compared with a full dealership showroom.
Therefore, Ducati can support existing customers in regions where opening a full showroom may not be practical. Ahmedabad was selected because the city has an active motorcycle riding community and growing interest in premium motorcycles.
Bipul Chandra, Managing Director at Ducati India, described the opening as "a pivotal step in strengthening Ducati's after sales ecosystem in India."
He pointed to Ahmedabad's riding culture and increasing appetite for premium motorcycles as factors behind the choice of location, and said the new setup reflects the company's focus on ownership experience beyond the point of sale.
Harsh Soni, Dealer Principal at FuelMoto Works, said his team was "committed to upholding Ducati's global standards of service and precision," and described the facility as a reflection of FuelMoto Works' long term relationship with the brand.
India’s premium motorcycle segment has expanded in recent years. Therefore, manufacturers are gradually increasing their presence outside major metropolitan cities.
Demand for performance motorcycles has grown in several Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities. Moreover, regions such as Gujarat have seen rising interest in lifestyle motorcycles.
Ahmedabad has developed a strong community of motorcycle riders. Hence, the new workshop supports Ducati owners across the city & nearby areas.
