BREAKING! New Honda Shine 100 Has Finally Arrived

Honda has finally pulled the covers off its most anticipated Honda Shine 100 in India today! The new model comes under the CB Shine range and directly competes with Hero Splendor Plus. Here is everything the bike has to offer.

New Honda Shine 100: Design

The design of the Shine 100 is fairly similar to the CB Shine 125. It boasts a curvy headlight, single-piece seat with grab rails adding the passenger’s convenience and a simple fuel tank. The overall build is compact and simple, much like the other commuter bikes in India. The company offers 5 colour options:

• black with red stripes, 
• black with blue stripes, 
• black with green stripes, 
• black with gold stripes, and 
• black with grey stripes. 

New Honda Shine 100: Engine

Honda Shine 100 is equipped with a 100cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor that belts out  7.61bhp and 8.05Nm peak torque. It is tuned to a 4-speed gearbox and fitted in a tabular frame. The best part? The new Shine 100 motor complies with the new OBD-2 rules, letting you monitor real-time emissions. 

New Honda Shine 100: Features

New Honda Shine 100 features a halogen headlamp and bulb turn indicators. It further features a twin-pod instrument console that shows the odometer, speedometer and fuel tank readout. It also has CBS (Combined Braking System) and a side-stand sensor.

New Honda Shine 100: Hardware

Shine 100 gets telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks. As for the braking system, it gets front & rear drum brakes fitted on alloy wheels that are wrapped in road-biased tyres. 

New Honda Shine 100: Price in India

Honda Shine 100 comes with the most aggressive pricing by the brand yet - Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). It will directly compete with TVS Radeon, Bajaj Platina and Hero Splendor. Booking for the same has started, however, the deliveries are set to begin in May 2023.
