Last week turned out to be quite exciting for motorcycle enthusiasts, with several new launches and important updates making headlines. From Royal Enfield’s updated Meteor 350 to Honda’s Fireblade return and BMW’s refreshed S 1000 R, riders had much to look forward to. Now, let’s know more updates.

The 2025 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been launched at a price of Rs. 1.96 lakh. The new Meteor brings both style and practical upgrades. It now comes with LED headlamps, LED turn indicators, a Tripper navigation pod, and a USB Type-C fast-charging port. Riders will also appreciate the assist and slipper clutch, along with adjustable brake and clutch levers for added comfort.
Royal Enfield has made sure each variant offers more value. The Fireball and Stellar trims get LED lights and the Tripper pod as standard, while the Supernova and Aurora versions include adjustable levers too.

Another highlight was Honda’s decision to bring back its flagship superbike, the 2025 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, to India. This superbike now costs Rs. 28.99 lakh, which is about Rs. 2.23 lakh more than before. The new model gets revised bodywork and upgraded hardware, inspired by Honda’s MotoGP learnings.
While the price is steep, Honda aims to deliver a sharper and more thrilling riding experience. The Fireblade remains a dream machine for superbike lovers, and these updates make it even more performance-focused.

BMW also joined the action with the launch of the 2025 S 1000 R, priced at Rs. 19.90 lakh. The bike gets a few changes but stays true to its aggressive naked sportbike appeal. Moreover, it comes with a 999cc four-cylinder engine that produces 170bhp and 114Nm of torque. Impressively, it can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed limited to 250kmph. To make acceleration quicker, BMW has revised the final-drive ratio.

CFMoto announced a delay in the 450MT’s India debut, which was earlier expected during the festive season. The reason is linked to new government rules requiring E20 fuel compatibility. To meet this, CFMoto’s global team is working on updating the engine with remapping and other adjustments. While this may be disappointing for some, it ensures the bike will meet India’s future fuel standards.

On a more exciting note, the Yamaha XSR 155 was spied testing on Indian roads for the first time. Yamaha has already sent out invites for 11 November, hinting strongly at its launch date. The test bike was seen with alloy wheels borrowed from the FZ-S/FZ-X, unlike the international version. This could mean Yamaha is tailoring the bike for Indian conditions.
