Bajaj To Increase Production of Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X

The decision came after Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 received 10,000 bookings in India.

The new Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X motorcycles from Triumph Motorcycles are accepted with great enthusiasm in India. The Triumph models received 10,000 bookings within just 10 days of their global debut. The 400 twins were unveiled worldwide on June 27 in the UK. 

However, the Indian market was the first to sell them, with the Speed 400 becoming available on July 5, 2023. The Triumph Speed 400 was launched at an attractive price of ₹2.23 lakh Ex-showroom, Delhi and the first 10,000 customers will receive a special inaugural price.

Price of Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X

The offer filled the first 10,000 bookings for the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X quickly. However, there is still an opportunity to book the Triumph Speed 400 at the introductory price before it increases to Rs. 2.33 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The high demand in the sales of the Triumph models made the company increase motorcycle production.

Market Response of Triumph 400 Twins 

Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto Ltd, expressed his enthusiasm about the positive response to the recent launch. He stated that the pre-order of 10,000 bikes in a short time is unprecedented and a testament to the unwavering trust that riders have in Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles. Sharma explained their commitment to manufacturing exceptional motorcycles that captivate riders with their performance, design, and technology.

Booking and Registration Details of the Speed and Scrambler

Triumph has enabled online bookings for its Speed 400 bike to ensure faster deliveries for its customers. Interested buyers can book the bike for Rs. 2,000 online. However, the company will invite customers from the booking list to make the payment once the bikes arrive at dealerships. The deliveries are expected to begin in the second half of July from Triumph dealerships across the country. 

In another statement, Triumph conveyed their concerns about increased on-road prices by dealers for the Speed 400. The company assured buyers that it would announce the on-road price soon to ensure transparency in the purchase process.
