Ampere NXG India Launch Date Revealed: Confirmed on April 30th

Ampere Electric has finally announced the launch date of the Ampere NXG electric scooter. After months of anticipation, the company has confirmed that the NXG will launch on April 30, 2024.

The new electric scooter, likely to be named the Ampere Nexus, is based on the NXG concept showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. It completed the challenging Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K) ride and earned a spot in the India Book of Records. Excitement is brewing as bookings have already begun for the Ampere NXG specifications for a nominal fee of Rs. 499.

Ampere NXG Features & Specifications 

Spied during testing, the Ampere NXG electric scooter reveals a sleek and versatile design suitable for all family members. This electric scooter has a spacious footboard and seat.  
Modern features like a seven-inch digital console and full LED lighting add to its allure. 

Powered by a mid-mounted electric motor, the NXG boasts a range of approximately 120km. Its dual springs, telescopic forks, and 12-inch alloy wheels provide a comfortable ride. 

Positioned as Ampere's flagship offering, the Ampere NXG electric scooter will compete with premium 2 wheeler electric scooters like the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, Vida V1, Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube. With its advanced tech, it aims to stand out, offering connectivity features like navigation through its TFT display.

Pricing & Competitors

The Ampere NXG electric scooter is expected to revolutionise the electric scooter market in India. With an expected price range of Rs.1,30,000 to Rs.1,50,000, it will stand tall among its competitors. Similar bikes in this segment include the Okaya Faast F3, Vida V1, OLA S1 Pro, and the upcoming Honda Activa Electric.
