Ampere Electric Scooter Prices Slashed Up to Rs. 10,000

Ampere, the subsidiary of Greaves Electric Mobility, has announced a significant discount on its electric scooters in India. The company has reduced the price of their EVs by Rs. 10,000. The new affordable scooter is becoming affordable, with the Rio Li Plus entry-level now priced at Rs. 59,900 (down from Rs. 69,900).

The Magnus EX and LT variants have also come down, with the EX model now priced at Rs. 94,900 (less than Rs. 10,000). Also, the current LT variant is priced at Rs. 84,900 (less Rs. 9,000). However, the recently announced Ampere Nexus remains at its original price. The discounts are aimed at boosting sales amid increasing competition in the electric vehicle market. Ampere Rio Li Plus: Entry-Level Electric Scooter 

 

Ampere Reo Li Plus is a budget-friendly scooter designed for short distances and has simple features. You don't need a driving license to ride it. The scooter uses a 1.3kWh removable lithium-ion battery. This battery lets the scooter go up to 70 km on a full charge, which takes about 5-6 hours to complete. 

The Reo Li Plus can reach a top speed of 25 kmph. It can carry up to 120 kg and features 10-inch wheels with telescopic forks and dual springs for suspension. Moreover, you have options to choose between red, orange, blue, and yellow colours.

Ampere Nexus: Brand’s Latest Electric Scooter 

 

Ampere Nexus is a new premium electric scooter available in two models: EX and ST. It has a 4kW motor that allows a top speed of 93kmph in Power mode, 63kmph in City mode, and 42kmph in Eco mode. The scooter also features a Reverse mode and Limp Home mode for low battery. It has a 3kWh LFP battery with a range of 136km and takes 3 hours and 20 minutes to charge fully. The Nexus comes in four colors: Zanskar Aqua, Steel Grey, Indian Red, and Lunar White.
