2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Launched in India: Know What’s New!

Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated 2024 edition of the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V motorcycle in India. This Hero bike is priced at Rs 1,38,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2024 version is Rs 2,000, more expensive than the previous top-end variant. In addition, it comes with some minor design changes and new features.

The 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is now available in a new colour called Kevlar Brown. Apart form this, it is also available in the existing colours, including Neon Shooting Star and Stealth Black options.   
 

What’s New in 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V?  
   

Below are the new things that Hero has offered in its all-new 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V bike: 

• Dual-channel ABS for better braking.
• Panic Brake Alert system that flashes the tail light and indicators during heavy braking.
• A new single-piece seat for better pillion comfort is replacing the split-type seat.
• Drag Race Timer to record 0-60 kmph sprints and 0-402 meters acceleration times.
• Redesigned tail section and tail lamp.
• The bike now comes in a single variant rather than the three different versions that were offered earlier  

What’s Unchanged in Hero Xtreme 160R 4V?

Apart from the new features, the rest of the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V remains the same:" 
 

• Engine: 163cc, single-cylinder, air-/oil-cooled, 4-valve engine that produces 16.9PS and 14.6Nm
• Suspension: 37mm KYB inverted fork in the front and a 7-step adjustable monoshock in the rear
• Brakes: 276mm front disc and 220mm rear disc 
• Seat height: 795mm
• Ground clearance: 165mm
• Kerb weight: 145kg
• Fuel tank capacity: 12 litres
• Features: A negatively lit LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation through the Hero app
