Now, the 2021 model brings many changes. It has a new engine, new frame, updated features, and a lighter build. The bike looks sharper and sportier than before. It is leaner and has a sleek design that stands out. The company has made this bike faster and Ducati Monster’s top speed is 200 kmph.
The Ducati Monster is sold in India in 2 variants: Monster BS6 Plus and Monster BS6 SP. The base variant starts at Rs 14.89 Lakh (ex-showroom). Moreover, the Monster SP is priced at Rs 19.69 Lakh.
The base variant comes in three colours, including Ducati Red, Aviator Grey, Dark Stealth and Iceberg White. Moreover, the Monster Plus variant available globally comes with a small flyscreen and rear seat cowl.
The bike is equipped with a 937 L-Twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is also used in other Ducati bikes like the Hypermotard and SuperSport. On the Monster, it produces 109.96 bhp @ 9250 rpm of power and 93 Nm @ 6500 rpm of torque.
