Now, the 2021 model brings many changes. It has a new engine, new frame, updated features, and a lighter build. The bike looks sharper and sportier than before. It is leaner and has a sleek design that stands out. The company has made this bike faster and Ducati Monster’s top speed is 200 kmph.

Ducati Monster Price in India 

The Ducati Monster is sold in India in 2 variants: Monster BS6 Plus and Monster BS6 SP. The base variant starts at Rs 14.89 Lakh (ex-showroom). Moreover, the Monster SP is priced at Rs 19.69 Lakh. 

The base variant comes in three colours, including Ducati Red, Aviator Grey, Dark Stealth and Iceberg White. Moreover, the Monster Plus variant available globally comes with a small flyscreen and rear seat cowl.

Ducati Monster Engine Performance

The bike is equipped with a 937 L-Twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is also used in other Ducati bikes like the Hypermotard and SuperSport. On the Monster, it produces 109.96 bhp @ 9250 rpm of power and 93 Nm @ 6500 rpm of torque. 

The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and has a quick-shifter as standard. Ducati also adds an anti-slip clutch for smooth and safe downshifts. Furthermore, the new frame and lightweight body improve handling and speed. The maximum speed of Ducati Monster is 200 kmph.

The Ducati Monster bike comes with many modern features. It has full LED lighting, including a sharp LED headlight with a stylish ring. The bike includes a 4.3-inch full-colour TFT display with graphics inspired by the Panigale V4. This console shows all riding information clearly. 

Moreover, there is a Bluetooth module as an optional add-on. The Monster also has advanced electronics. It gets three riding modes – Sport, Touring, and Urban. These modes adjust the bike’s performance based on your needs. 

The motorcycle also has cornering ABS, traction control, power launch, wheelie control, and ride-by-wire throttle. These systems make the ride safer and more enjoyable. The Monster SP adds features like a Termignoni exhaust, flyscreen, pillion seat cover, and more advanced suspension.

Ducati Monster Specifications

The new Ducati Monster BS6 is built on an aluminium alloy frame. It also gets an Aluminium swingarm inspired by the Panigale V4. Moreover, the sub-frame at the rear is made from glass fibre reinforced polymer, which is both strong and light.

The front suspension uses a 43mm upside-down fork with 130mm travel. At the rear, there is a monoshock with 140mm travel and preload adjustability. In the Monster SP variant, both front and rear suspensions are upgraded to fully adjustable units from Ohlins.

Furthermore, the Monster uses twin 320mm discs at the front with Brembo M4.32 four-piston callipers. The rear has a 245mm disc with a Brembo two-piston calliper. These brakes offer powerful and confident stopping power.

The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. It has Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres on the standard Monster. The Monster SP gets Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres for better grip and performance. Moreover, the Ducati Monster seat height is 820 also comfortable for most riders.
