Yezdi is all set to bring updates to its popular Scrambler and Roadster motorcycles. After launching the 2025 Yezdi Adventure recently, the brand is now preparing to refresh the rest of its lineup.
The updated Scrambler and Roadster have been spotted testing in India and are expected to launch on 12 August. While both Yezdi bikes will mostly keep their original design, a few key changes are coming in terms of features, engine, and overall ride quality.
Both the Yezdi Scrambler and Roadster will maintain their original retro styling. The spy images show that not much has changed in terms of body design. However, the Roadster will now get LED turn indicators that also work as taillights, which gives it a neater rear-end look.
The rear fender on the Roadster has also been redesigned. It sits higher now and gives the bike a rugged and sporty vibe. As for the Scrambler, the major visual update seems to be the new shock absorbers at the rear. These shocks might offer more suspension travel, which will improve comfort and performance on rough roads.
Both bikes are also likely to come with new paint schemes and dual-tone finishes, similar to what was introduced with the 2025 Yezdi Adventure.
One of the most important changes will be under the tank. The new Yezdi Scrambler and Roadster will get the same Alpha 2 engine found in the recently updated Yezdi Adventure.
This 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine produces around 29.6bhp of power and 29.9Nm of torque. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and offers gear-based engine mapping. That means power delivery changes slightly depending on the gear you’re in, which makes rides smoother.
The Yezdi Scrambler may also get a quickshifter, which was one of the most-requested features from fans of the bike. While not confirmed yet, this feature would definitely improve gear shifts and riding feel.
The launch date for both the updated Yezdi Scrambler and Roadster is set for August 12. While prices are not officially announced yet, expect a small increase in cost compared to the current models.
The price hike will likely depend on the variant and features offered. The current models are priced between Rs 2.07 lakh and Rs 2.13 lakh (ex-showroom), so the updated versions may cost slightly more.
