Ather Energy has crossed a big milestone in Maharashtra. The electric two-wheeler brand now has over 440 fast chargers across 35 cities in the state. With this, Ather aims to make electric mobility easier, faster, and more convenient for riders. The brand is also expanding its LECCS-compatible chargers and service support to help even more riders charge on the go.

Ather Energy has now installed more than 440 fast chargers under its Ather Grid network in Maharashtra. These chargers are available in 35 cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, and Nagpur.
They are placed at high-traffic spots like shopping malls, cafes, and key roads to ensure riders never run out of charge. These chargers can give 15 km of range in just 10 minutes. This means riders can charge quickly and continue their journey without long stops.
According to Ather, the total number of fast chargers in Maharashtra, including LECCS-compatible units, is now more than 660. That’s a huge boost for all EV riders in the state, not just Ather users.
Ather has also built chargers along popular highway routes in Maharashtra. These include:
This move helps people who like to take road trips on their electric scooters. You can now go from one city to another without worrying about your battery level. Fast charging makes travel quicker and stress-free.
The company says these chargers are open to all electric two-wheelers, not just Ather scooters. That’s part of Ather’s LECCS initiative, which makes chargers compatible with multiple brands.
Ather’s effort doesn’t stop at charging stations. The company also provides strong support for its users. There are now 64 Ather Experience Centres and 42 Service Centres across Maharashtra. So, if you need a test ride, bike service, or help with a charger, support is close by. This makes it easier for riders to trust the brand and shift to electric two-wheelers.
Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather, shared his thoughts: “Maharashtra has always been a strong market for us. As more riders shift to electric, the key is confidence. We want them to feel that charging will never be a problem. This 400+ fast charger milestone proves our commitment.” His statement shows that Ather is thinking long-term. It’s not just about selling scooters but also about building a full EV ecosystem.
