Yamaha has introduced five new scooters at EICMA 2026, covering both electric mobility and adventure touring. The new line-up includes the electric Xenter E and NMax E, along with three adventure scooters: RW350, RW700 and RW700 Explore.
The new electric scooters focus on urban travel, while the RW series offers features for longer journeys. Here is everything you need to know about the new Yamaha scooters.

Yamaha has confirmed that the Xenter E and NMax E will go on sale in spring 2027. Both scooters use a 7.5kW electric motor producing 33.3Nm of torque and a 3.5kWh battery.
The Xenter E offers a claimed WMTC range of 108km, while the NMax E delivers 104km. Both get an 800W onboard charger that takes 5.5 hours to charge the battery fully.
The Xenter E uses an underbone frame and gets 16-inch wheels at both ends. Its suspension offers 100mm front and 97mm rear travel. Features include a reverse function, smart key and a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
Meanwhile, the NMax E gets 13-inch wheels and styling similar to the petrol-powered NMax. It also offers three ride modes, traction control, reverse function and a smart key.

Both adventure scooters use Yamaha's 690cc CP2 engine, which also powers the Ténéré 700, MT-07 and R7. Yamaha has not shared their power figures yet. However, the same engine produces 73.4hp and 68Nm in the Ténéré 700. The engine works with Yamaha's Y-AMT transmission. Riders can change gears using handlebar switches or select automatic mode.
Both models get a steel frame, 41mm USD front forks and a rear monoshock. The RW700 also gets a six-axis IMU with traction control, slide control, brake control and a back-slip regulator. It rides on 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. Its ground clearance stands at 170mm, while its seat height is 810mm. The scooter weighs 221kg.
The RW700 Explore adds adjustable front suspension, heated grips, a heated seat, a centre stand and backlit switches.
The RW350 uses an all-new 330cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a CVT gearbox. It offers three ride modes: Street, Explore and Eco, which adjust power delivery and traction control. Other features include a 5-inch TFT display, smart key, LED lights and self-cancelling indicators. It gets 37mm USD front forks with 140mm travel and twin rear shocks with 105mm travel.
The scooter rides on 16-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels with Dunlop D615 block-pattern tyres. Yamaha has revealed an interesting mix of electric and adventure scooters at EICMA 2026. However, the company has not yet shared their prices or confirmed their India launch plans.
