Yamaha Motor India has increased the price of its MT-15 V2 naked bike across all variants in India. The Yamaha motorcycle now costs Rs. 3,800 more than before. This change applies to every version, including the standard and DLX trims.
The updated price now starts at Rs. 1,63,590 for the standard variant. Meanwhile, the DLX TFT variant now costs Rs. 1,72,830. In addition, the Standard SPL variant is priced at Rs. 1,64,490.
However, this increase brings the MT-15 V2 closer to some strong rivals in the segment. Buyers may now compare it more closely with bikes like the KTM 160 Duke. This may affect decisions, especially for budget-focused riders.

The MT-15 V2 continues to use its proven 155cc engine. This single-cylinder motor delivers strong and smooth performance for daily use. It produces 18.1bhp and 14.2 Nm of torque.
In addition, the engine comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. This setup helps in smooth gear shifts and better highway riding. Riders often enjoy its high-revving nature and quick throttle response.
The MT-15 V2 weighs around 141kg, which feels light in daily riding conditions. This makes it easier to handle in traffic. Riders can move through tight spaces without much effort.
Moreover, the compact size adds to rider confidence. The bike feels agile and easy to control. This becomes helpful, especially for new riders in busy cities. However, the bike still offers a strong road presence. Its muscular design and sharp styling make it stand out. Yamaha has clearly focused on both form and function.
The motorcycle uses a Deltabox frame for better balance and control. This frame improves stability at both low and high speeds. Riders feel more confident while cornering.
In addition, the front gets upside-down forks. The rear uses a link-type monoshock suspension. Together, they offer a stable and smooth ride quality.
