Ultraviolette F99 Revealed At EICMA 2023, India's Fastest Electric Superbike

Ultraviolette Automotive displayed its latest version of the F99 Factory Racing Program at EICMA 2023, demonstrating India's capability to manufacture top-notch electric motorcycles. This unveiling marks significant updates from the previous version introduced at the Auto Expo 2023.
 

Ultraviolette F99: Specs

The race-spec F99 will be powered by a liquid-cooled motor, producing 90 kW max power output. This motor will deliver 265 kmph claimed top speed, making this bike India’s fastest electric superbike made in India. Moreover, this bike has impressive acceleration, reaching from 0-100 kmph in just 3 seconds.
 

This bike comes with winglets & ducts on the front cowl, side panel & rear end, featuring active aerodynamics. The windshield & front cowl ducts are integral parts of this system. The 'Air Blades' on the side panels are electronically controlled in real time. These airblades adapt to lean angles to improve downforce when taking corners.
 

Additional specs include a steel hybrid frame, aluminium swingarm, carbon fibre bodywork alongside 1400 mm wheelbase & 178 Kg kerb weight. This bike rolls on 120/70 R17 front & 180/55 R17 rear tyre setup with carbon fibre covers for the 17-inch wheels. Furthermore, this electric bike is supported by a gold USD fork & monoshock suspension setup.
 

This race-spec F99 was first unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023. In that event, the manufacturer stated that the rear sets are precision CNC machined units that can be customised to suit the rider’s preferred posture on the motorcycle. We anticipate this feature to be retained in the latest iteration of the F99.
 

Ultraviolette F99: Price

Ultraviolette has announced the launch of this model globally, with the price expected to be around Rs. 8 Lakhs. However, as per other sources, Ultraviolette Automotive announced that the F77 will soon be available in Europe. The price will range between 9,000 & 11,000 Euros (around Rs 8. Lakhs to Rs. 9.19 Lakhs).
 

The bookings will start on November 15, 2023, for the European market. Additionally, the European-spec F77’s power output figures are similar to the F77 Space Edition, which was launched in August 2023.
