TVS Two-Wheelers Sales Report April 2024: Registers 27% Growth

TVS Motor Company reported a 27% increase in total two-wheeler sales for April 2024 compared to April 2023. The company sold 3,74,592 units, up from 294,786 units last year. Motorcycle sales grew by 24%, in April 2024 188,110 units were sold compared to 152,365 units in April 2023. 

Furthermore, scooter sales also surged by 34%, reaching 144,126 units compared to 107,496 units in the same month last year. This growth reflects strong consumer demand for TVS bikes and scooters in the market. 

TVS’s Domestic & Exports Two-Wheeler Sales In April 2024

In April 2024, TVS Motor Company witnessed a 29% growth in domestic two-wheeler sales. The brand has sold 301,449 units compared to 232,956 units in April 2023. Additionally, exports of TVS two-wheelers increased by 18%, rising from 61,830 units in April 2023 to 73,143 units in April 2024. 

This indicates strong demand for TVS scooters and motorcycles both within India and internationally. The company's performance reflects a positive trend in the market.

TVS Electric Vehicles April 2024 Sales 

TVS recorded significant growth in electric vehicle (EV) sales, reaching 17,403 units compared to 6,227 units in April 2023. The company has seen an impressive 179% increase in EV sales. This surge underscores the growing interest and adoption of electric vehicles in India. Moreover, the introduction of the new Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme after the end of FAME II in March 2024 reflected good sales numbers.
