TVS Motor Company has achieved a major sales milestone with the TVS Raider 125 in India & export markets. The motorcycle has crossed 1.9 million cumulative sales since its launch in September 2021. Moreover, the Raider 125 contributed strongly to the company’s motorcycle business during the last five fiscal years. The sporty commuter motorcycle also gained steady demand in overseas markets. However, competition inside the 125cc segment remains intense with several strong rivals already present.

The TVS Raider 125 recorded cumulative sales of 19,07,277 units till March 2026 across domestic & export markets. Domestic wholesales contributed around 1.62 million units during this period. In addition, export volumes crossed 286,000 units in overseas markets.
The Raider 125 also played an important role in TVS motorcycle sales during recent financial years. The motorcycle contributed 31 percent of TVS Motor’s total motorcycle sales of 5.27 million units. Meanwhile, the Apache motorcycle range contributed 38 percent during the same period.
FY2024 became the strongest year for the Raider 125 after sales reached 478,443 units during the financial year. Sales also increased by 100 percent compared to FY2023 volumes. Therefore, the motorcycle became TVS Motor’s highest selling bike during that period.
The Raider 125 also moved ahead of the Apache series during FY2024 sales performance. It sold more than 100,000 units higher than the Apache motorcycle range. However, FY2025 witnessed lower demand as annual sales dropped by 16 percent.
During FY2026, demand improved once again after GST 2.0 reduced motorcycle prices from October 2025 onwards. Hence, Raider 125 sales increased by seven percent to 426,877 units during the year.
The Raider 125 continues competing against several established motorcycles inside the commuter motorcycle category. Key rivals include the Honda Shine, Hero Glamour, Hero Xtreme 125R and Bajaj Pulsar.
During FY2026, the 110cc-125cc motorcycle segment reported nearly flat annual sales growth across India. The Raider 125 secured a 12 percent market share after recording 426,877 unit sales. However, the Honda Shine remained the highest selling motorcycle with 1.71 million units during FY2026.
Export performance also improved steadily for the Raider 125 in international markets. TVS Motor exported 76,900 Raider motorcycles during FY2026, which became its highest export year so far.

The Raider 125 gained buyer attention because of its sporty styling and modern feature list. The motorcycle earlier received recognition from Autocar India for its overall package and road performance.
Power comes from a 124.8cc engine generating 11.2 bhp and 11.75 Nm torque. The motorcycle uses a five speed gearbox and delivers an ARAI certified mileage of 56.7 kmpl. In addition, the Raider 125 offers ride modes, TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity and single channel ABS in selected variants.
The motorcycle currently remains available in seven variants across Indian dealerships. Prices range between Rs 82,860 & Rs 98,550 ex-showroom. However, future demand may depend on fuel prices & changing buyer preference towards smaller commuter motorcycles.
