TVS Planning to Launch New Models & Upgraded Product Line This FY

TVS Motor, a Hosur-based company, is planning to expand in the 2-wheeler market for the above 150cc segment. This segment is already being ruled by its Apache and Ronin series. 

With soaring sales figures in recent months, the company is setting its future plans to launch new models in motion. The launches are set to happen this fiscal year (April 2023-March 2024). 

Vimal Sumbly, HOD (Premium) of TVS Motor Company, revealed that the increased tourism activities had been one of the biggest factors in the rising premium bike demand.

He said, “This is supporting our premiumisation drive, both in India and overseas”. The company currently offers Apache RR310 as its flagship model. But, the range will be expanded further with new models in the coming years. 

TVS Ronin and Apache have together contributed over 14% of the brand’s international sales. Speaking about the product portfolio expansion, Sumbly informed that TVS would also offer upgraded models during the FY 2023-24. Currently, the company offers over 10 lakh 2-wheelers in more than 60 countries, in which, most of which include models from its Apache series. 

There are also speculations that they will be coming out with a naked 310 cc bike (confirmation awaited from the company). So, it will be interesting to see what the future has in store for the brand.
