Top Bikes & Scooter to be Launched in September 2024

September 2024 is shaping up to be a very exciting month for the Indian two-wheeler market, with a host of highly awaited launches. It will bring updates to popular bikes and scooters and new models altogether. Highlights include the all-new Jawa 42, a refreshed Hero Destini 125, and the launch of the Royal Enfield Classic 650. These promises style, performance, and eco-friendliness.

These launches represent the growing customer demand for stylish, fuel-efficient, and eco-friendly bikes and scooters. New Jawa 42 

 
Classic Legends looks all set to ride in with its all-new Jawa 42 on September 3, 2024. The bike will feature a new design with an increased engine capacity of 334cc. Further, the prices would start from Rs 2.10 Lakh and go up to Rs 2.20 Lakh (ex-showroom). The Jawa 42 is a neo-retro bike that fuses vintage looks and modern performance. Moreover, it will likely be accompanied by a new chassis designed for the 334c liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 22.57PS and 28.1Nm. 
 

New Hero Destini 125 

 
The upcoming Hero Destini 125 is likely to launch in the first week of September 2024. Moreover, Its first ride event is scheduled for September 6-7. The scooter will feature a complete makeover, including a refreshed design and an external fuel-filler cap. For the first time, it’s expected to come with a front disc brake. Additionally, the Destini 125 may offer optional dual-tone colour schemes. These updates aim to enhance both the style and functionality of the popular scooter. 
 

Bajaj Ethanol 

 
Rajiv Bajaj confirmed that Bajaj Auto is developing an ethanol-powered bike, which is expected to be unveiled in September. The Indian government is encouraging the auto industry to focus on vehicles powered by 80-100 % ethanol to promote more sustainable transportation options. 
 

New Royal Enfield Classic 650

 
Royal Enfield is expected to launch the Classic 650 in India next month. The new Classic 650 will feature the same 648cc twin-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine found in other 650cc models. However, it will be tuned to match the Classic's relaxed riding style.
