The 2023 Honda Dio 125 Has Finally Launched & It Costs Rs. 83,400 In India

Honda has launched its Dio 125 for the year 2023 in India. The price of the scooter starts at Rs. 83,400, making it an exciting yet affordable option in the Indian market. There are two available variants for the scooter: Standard & Smart. The Honda Dio 125 is offered with a 10 years warranty package which makes it quite a deal. 

Mechanical Specifications of Honda Dio 125

The new Honda Dio 125 is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cool OBD2-compliant engine with eSP Technology. The engine also has a Honda ACG starter, better tumble flow, friction reduction, enhanced combustion, and solenoid valves.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have yet to reveal the Dio 125's power and torque performance. In comparison, the present 125cc engine on the Honda Grazia 125 produces 8.14 bhp and 10.3 Nm of peak torque, respectively.

Design and Styling of Honda Dio 125

The stylistic characteristics include a strong design similar to the 110cc Honda Dio. The scooter has an apron-mounted headlamp with front turn indicators. It has a sleek body design, a split-style pillion grabrail, and a dual outlet exhaust with a heat shield. 

The updated graphics and a Honda’s logo are present to enhance the looks of the scooter. 
Honda dio 125 is now available in 7 colour variants. 
 

Honda Dio 125 - Features  & Variants

The Honda Dio 125 variants come with an LED headlight, an idling stop system, and a side-stand indicator with an engine inhibitor. It has an integrated headlamp beam, a passing switch, and a combined brake system in both variants. On the other hand, the Smart Key model is powered by H-Smart technology. It includes features such as smart find, keyless start, and security functions.

Suspension Hardware

The suspension hardware of both models features telescopic front forks and a single preload-adjustable rear spring. The braking system on the standard model is drum-type, however, the Smart variation has a petal-type front disc brake. In addition, both models offer an 18-litre under-seat storage compartment and a front pocket.

Price and Warranty of Honda Dio 125

The standard model of Honda Dio is priced at Rs. 83,400, while the Smart variation is available for a premium at Rs. 91,300. Both models provide a special 10-year warranty with three years of standard and seven years of optional extended warranty.
