Suzuki India Developing Budget-Friendly V-Strom 800 Touring Model?

Suzuki is all set to widen its adventure category portfolio. The company is working towards launching a new entry-level X-Strom 800 ADV bike model. 

We recently found a few leaked emission documents showing us that the Japanese brand had registered 3 models for its 2024 launches. Out of those 3 models, the 2024 V-Strom 800DE Adventure & V-Strom 800DE launches are confirmed. These 2 models were showcased at the 2022 EICMA and went on sale soon after. Both bikes are ideal for riders who are looking for a 2-wheeler ideal for both on & off-roading. 

Analysing the leaked Suzuki documents, it seems pretty clear that the brand is planning to tap into the more affordable pricing in the sector. The V-Strom 800 could be a base/standard model focusing on on-road riding. The bike features small front alloy wheels, but this motorcycle will probably have various suspension setups. However, to keep the costs down low, some of the features may be removed. 

The third new bike we are hoping to see in the 2023 EICMA show, which is set to be held in Milan, Italy. Suzuki India has been testing the V-Strom 800DE for the Indian market, giving us hope for the launch to happen soon.
