Suzuki India has introduced rental and subscription services for its new electric scooter in India. The company has partnered with Royal Brothers Rentals to provide flexible mobility options. The rollout starts with the recently launched Suzuki E-Access in selected cities. Therefore, customers can now access the scooter without buying it outright. This move mainly targets urban riders who prefer short term usage or yearly subscription plans instead of full ownership.

In the first phase, the services are available in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur and Gurugram. Moreover, Royal Brothers already operates in these cities, which supports smoother service management. The rental period begins from 24 hours and extends further as per user needs. In addition, subscription plans are offered for durations of up to one year. Hence, customers can select plans based on daily travel or long term commuting requirements.

Currently, the partnership focuses only on the E-Access electric scooter. However, Suzuki has confirmed that more two wheelers will receive similar rental and subscription facilities soon. Therefore, buyers looking for flexible access to Suzuki products may get wider options in the coming months.
The Suzuki E-Access delivers a top speed of 71 kmph and offers a claimed range of 95 km. Moreover, the battery takes over four hours to charge from zero to 80 percent. The scooter is priced at Rs. 1.88 lakh, ex showroom. However, the performance numbers appear modest considering its premium price positioning in the market.
