Suzuki Burgman Street 125 has achieved a major milestone in India by crossing 14 lakh cumulative sales since its launch in July 2018. The scooter has become Suzuki Motorcycle India’s second best-selling scooter after the popular Suzuki Access 125. Over the years, the Burgman Street has created a strong position in the growing maxi-scooter segment.
Between July 2018 and March 2026, Suzuki sold 11.6 lakh Burgman Street scooters in India. In addition, the company exported around 2.5 lakh units to several global markets. This pushed the scooter’s overall cumulative sales to 14.1 lakh units. The Burgman Street now contributes nearly 25% of Suzuki’s total scooter sales during this period.
FY2026 proved to be the best year ever for the Burgman Street 125. Suzuki sold 2.87 lakh units during the financial year, with healthy growth of 25% year-on-year. It may be due to the popularity of the scooter among young buyers or urban commuters.
But the Access 125 continues to be Suzuki's best selling scooter. In FY2026, the company sold 8.12 lakh units of Access 125. Both scooters contributed to Suzuki having record scooter sales in India of 11.5 lakh units in a year.
Suzuki scooters sold a total of 96,183 units in April 2026. The Access 125 contribution 70,339 units and the Burgman Street added 19,337 units. Consequently, Burgman Street's sales accounted for 20% of the company's monthly scooters.

Suzuki currently offers the scooter in Ride Connect Edition and Ride Connect TFT Edition. The Ride Connect Edition starts at Rs 1.02 lakh ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the Ride Connect TFT Edition costs Rs 1.13 lakh.
The Burgman Street uses a 124cc single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine paired with a CVT gearbox. This engine produces 8.6 PS power and 10.2 Nm torque. Furthermore, the scooter delivers smooth performance and fuel-efficient city riding.
The Burgman Street gained attention immediately after launch because of its maxi-style design. Unlike traditional scooters, it offered a larger body, a wide seat and relaxed riding ergonomics. Consequently, many riders preferred it for daily city travel and longer weekend rides.
Suzuki also updated the scooter regularly with new technology and modern features. The latest versions now offer a TFT instrument console, smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. In addition, riders get call alerts, message notifications, weather updates and traffic information.
The scooter also features LED lighting, keyless ignition and a front disc brake with CBS. These features improve convenience and riding confidence for everyday users.
