The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been spotted testing in Ladakh, giving us a closer look at the much-awaited adventure bike. The test bike was seen being ridden through the cold and high-altitude regions of Ladakh, likely for performance testing in tough weather and road conditions. Interestingly, some of the senior management members from Royal Enfield were seen riding the bike during this test, showing how important this new model is for the brand.

Even though the motorcycle was heavily camouflaged, a few important design details were clearly visible. At the front, the Himalayan 750 gets a large fairing with a round LED headlight in the middle, along with a windscreen mounted above it. This setup suggests that the new model is built for serious touring comfort. The fuel tank also looks much bigger than the one on the current Himalayan, which should offer a longer riding range — a big plus for long-distance touring.
The rear and side profiles of the bike are more compact and practical. A high-mounted exhaust pipe sits close to the tail section, making it easier to ride through water crossings, especially in regions like Ladakh. It also leaves space for attaching panniers or saddlebags, which are essential for touring.
Underneath the bodywork, the Himalayan 750 uses a new frame and subframe. The bike rides on an upside-down (USD) front fork and a rear monoshock suspension. From the looks of it, both ends are expected to be adjustable to suit different road conditions. The bike also features wire-spoke wheels with a 19-inch wheel at the front and a 17-inch wheel at the rear. These are expected to be tubeless, which is a great feature for adventure riders who often travel off-road.
When it comes to features, Royal Enfield seems to be offering several modern upgrades. The production model could come with a new TFT instrument cluster, which is likely to include Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and even cruise control. These features will make the Himalayan 750 a more tech-friendly and comfortable option for riders who go on long tours.
Powering the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will be a 750cc parallel-twin engine with air and oil cooling. This engine is expected to produce over 50 bhp of power and around 60 Nm of torque. It will come paired with a six-speed gearbox to ensure smooth power delivery on highways as well as rough terrains.
Royal Enfield is expected to officially unveil the Himalayan 750 towards the end of this year. Once launched, it will become the most powerful and premium adventure bike in the Royal Enfield lineup. This new model will take on bikes like the KTM 790 Adventure and other mid-size ADVs in the Indian market, giving adventure lovers another strong reason to explore new roads.
