Simple Energy has launched its latest electric scooter, the Simple Ultra, at Rs 2,34,999 (ex-showroom). The model focuses on riders who travel long distances daily. It was first revealed earlier this year under the brand’s Gen 2 lineup. Now, deliveries have already started across India, and bookings remain open.
The company aims to strengthen its position in the premium electric scooter segment. Perhaps this launch will attract buyers looking for both performance and range in one package.

The Simple Ultra runs on a 6.5 kWh battery pack, which supports a claimed IDC range of 400 km. This makes it one of the longest-range scooters currently available in India. In addition, the scooter reaches a top speed of 115 kmph, which suits highway riding as well.
It also accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds. Because of this quick acceleration, the scooter feels responsive in city traffic. However, the company says it is still the second-fastest model in its lineup. The Simple One remains the fastest offering from the brand.
The Simple Ultra has advanced features that are aimed at enhanced control and safety. It is provided with four traction control levels, which assist riders in handling various conditions on the road with ease.
In addition, the scooter gets a seven-inch touchscreen display. This display provides ride information and controls different functions. Riders will be able to find valuable information without any distractions.
Simple Energy is steadily growing its retail network. It has already established almost 70 touchpoints in major cities. They are Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi.
Besides, the brand will expand to other cities such as Nagpur, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar in the near future. Test rides have already been implemented in some locations and this assists customers in feeling the scooter prior to purchasing.
The Simple Ultra joins the Gen 2 versions of the Simple OneS and Simple One lineup. However, it stands out due to its focus on extended range. Overall, the launch reflects the growing demand for high-performance electric scooters in India. As competition increases, models like the Simple Ultra could shape the future of urban mobility.
