Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Showcased at Himalayan Base Camp in Leh

Royal Enfield has showcased the Himalayan 750 in India for the first time. The motorcycle appeared at the Himalayan Base Camp in Leh, Ladakh. The showcase gives us a closer look at the upcoming adventure bike. Its design follows the rugged look of the Himalayan range, while adding several new elements.

Himalayan 750 Design and Engine

The Himalayan 750 gets a round LED headlight, muscular fairing and a tall windscreen. In addition, it gets a large fuel tank that adds to its adventure focused design.

The bike will use Royal Enfield’s new 750cc parallel twin engine. The company has not shared its output yet. However, we expect around 55bhp and 60Nm from this engine.

For comparison, the 650cc engine makes around 47bhp and 52Nm. Therefore, the new engine should offer a noticeable increase in performance.

Suspension and Braking Setup

The motorcycle gets an upside down front fork with preload and rebound adjustment. At the rear, it uses a monoshock with preload adjustment. Interestingly, riders can adjust the rear preload through a remote adjuster. The bike will also get 19 inch front and 17 inch rear wheels.

Depending on the variant, Royal Enfield could offer tubeless spoke or alloy wheels. Braking duties come from dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.

TFT Console and Cruise Control

The Himalayan 750 gets a round TFT display similar to the Himalayan 450. It supports smartphone connectivity, call and SMS alerts and Google Maps navigation.

In addition, the ride by wire throttle enables cruise control. The bike may also get different riding modes with varying throttle responses. A USB Type C charging port should also help riders charge their phones during long rides.

However, Royal Enfield has not confirmed the launch date yet. The company could showcase the bike at EICMA 2026, followed by an India launch at Motoverse 2026.
