Royal Enfield will launch the new Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in India soon. Dealer yards have already started receiving the first units ahead of the launch. The new edition keeps the same design and hardware as the regular Classic 350.
However, Royal Enfield has added a new colour and special Gorkha Edition graphics to give it a distinct look.

The biggest change comes with a light military green or olive green paint finish. This shade gives Royal Enfield Bikes a strong military-inspired appearance. However, Royal Enfield has not revealed the official colour name yet.
In addition, the fuel tank and side panels get dedicated Gorkha Edition graphics. The side panel features the crossed Khukri symbol along with Gorkha Edition branding. The Khukri represents the traditional curved knife associated with Gorkha soldiers.
The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition continues with the familiar semi-digital instrument cluster. It gets an analogue speedometer with an LCD display, wire-spoke wheels, round mirrors and a chrome exhaust. The motorcycle also retains its two-piece seat, chrome headlamp bezel and standard Classic 350 bodywork. However, the spy images do not show a Tripper navigation pod.
Royal Enfield recently added an assist and slipper clutch and USB Type-C fast charging to the dual-channel ABS versions of the Classic 350. These features are expected on the Gorkha Edition as well.

The Gorkha Edition will use the familiar 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine. It produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm and comes with a five-speed gearbox.
Moreover, the bike will continue with telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, disc brakes and dual-channel ABS. Therefore, riders can expect the same basic riding experience as the regular Classic 350.
Royal Enfield is expected to reveal the Gorkha Edition's price soon. The company currently offers the Classic 350 in several variants, including Heritage Classic, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark, Classic Chrome and Redditch.
Perhaps the new colour and Gorkha-themed graphics will attract buyers looking for a more distinctive Classic 350. With dealer dispatches already underway, deliveries should begin soon after the launch.
