Bajaj Auto Adds Premium Black Gold Shade to Bajaj Pulsar 150 Lineup

Bajaj Auto has introduced a stylish new colour option for the Pulsar 150, called Black Gold. 
This update comes shortly after the launch of the Pulsar 180 in India. The company has not increased prices for this new colour option. The Pulsar 150 still starts at Rs 1,10,194, (ex-showroom).

In addition, this new shade is available across all three variants of the motorcycle. Perhaps this move will attract buyers looking for a more premium design. Let’s know more about this bike in detail: 

What Makes the Black Gold Shade Stand Out

The Black Gold theme gives the bike a bold and refined appearance. It features a deep black base with neat golden highlights. These gold accents appear on the headlight cowl and fuel tank extensions. They also cover the engine cowl, rear panels, and even the rim stickers.

However, Bajaj has not made any design or mechanical changes to the bike. The update focuses only on improving visual appeal and road presence. Earlier, the Pulsar 150 already offered multiple dual-tone colour options. These included Ebony Black with Red, Blue, Grey, and Green combinations. Now, the Black Gold shade joins this list as a fifth option.

Features & Design Remain Familiar yet Practical

The Pulsar 150 keeps its strong and muscular design. It still offers an upright riding position suited for daily use. In addition, the bike comes with an all-LED lighting setup. This includes LED headlamp, indicators, and tail lamp. The motorcycle also gets a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can check notifications and use the Ride Connect feature easily. 

However, suspension duties remain unchanged with telescopic forks and twin rear shocks. The braking setup includes a front disc and rear drum on lower variants. The top variant offers disc brakes on both wheels for better safety. The bike also gets Single-channel ABS as standard across all variants.

Engine & Performance Stay The Same

Mechanically, the Pulsar 150 continues with its trusted 149.5cc engine. It produces 13.8 bhp power and around 13.4 Nm torque. The engine pairs with a 5-speed gearbox for smooth performance. Perhaps this familiar setup keeps maintenance simple and affordable. The bike also offers a 15-litre fuel tank and 165 mm ground clearance. Overall, this update keeps things simple yet appealing.
