New Bajaj Pulsar 125 TFT Variant Spotted Testing; Launch Soon

The new-generation Bajaj Pulsar 125 is expected to launch soon in India with several design, feature, and mechanical updates. Bajaj Auto has started testing the updated motorcycle on Indian roads, and the latest test bike gets a TFT instrument screen. This could be the top variant in the new Pulsar 125 range.

The 125cc motorcycle segment is getting more features, and brands are now adding TFT screens and connected technology to their bikes. For instance, the Hero Xtreme 125R recently received a TFT and TPMS-equipped variant. In addition, Bajaj could bring similar premium features to its popular Pulsar 125 before the festive season.

New 2026 Pulsar 125 Design Updates

The 2026 Pulsar 125 gets several changes to its design. At the front, the bike gets a new LED headlight along with a slightly revised front fender. The front number plate now sits above the headlight. As a result, it should remain more visible than on the current model.

The windscreen keeps a familiar shape; however, its lower edges now look more rounded. This small change gives the front section a cleaner look.

Moving to the side, Bajaj has redesigned the fuel tank and tank extensions. The tank still follows the familiar Pulsar design, but the sharper tank shrouds give the motorcycle a sportier appearance. Moreover, the new bike gets sportier graphics that further add to its aggressive look.

More Changes to the Body

The new Pulsar 125 also gets a toe-only gear shifter instead of the heel-and-toe setup on the current bike. In addition, the chain cover now appears to use plastic, which could help Bajaj reduce the overall weight.

At the rear, this Bajaj motorcycle gets an updated dual-tone exhaust and larger split grab rails. The taillight also gets a new design. Furthermore, the pillion footpegs and rear brake pedal have received updates.

The bike continues to use 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic front forks and LED indicators. Therefore, Bajaj has kept some familiar parts while making important changes around them.

New TFT Screen and Connected Features

One of the biggest updates on the new Pulsar 125 is the TFT instrument cluster. The screen looks similar to the unit seen on the recently launched Pulsar N160 SS top variant.

Perhaps the most useful addition will be Bluetooth connectivity. The new TFT screen could support features such as call alerts, SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. However, premium features such as Google Maps mirroring and Wi-Fi connectivity may not come with the Pulsar 125.

In addition, the test bike gets a Type-C USB charging port. This will allow riders to charge compatible smartphones while riding. The 125cc motorcycle also gets hazard lights, adding another useful feature for daily riding.

New Engine and Monoshock Setup

Bajaj could also update the engine of the new Pulsar 125. The company may tune the motor for smoother performance and better fuel efficiency. However, Bajaj has not yet confirmed the engine specifications or performance figures.

Another major change comes at the rear suspension. The new Pulsar 125 gets a monoshock rear suspension instead of the twin shock absorbers used on the current model. This setup also gives the motorcycle a more sporty appearance.

New Pulsar 125 Price and Rivals

With these updates, the new 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125 could cost slightly more than the current model. The top TFT variant could command a higher price because of its additional features and updated hardware.

The current Pulsar 125 starts at Rs. 90,494 (ex-showroom). Bajaj could reveal the new model's exact price and variant details closer to its launch.

The updated Pulsar 125 will continue to compete with popular 125cc motorcycles such as the TVS Raider 125, Honda SP 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R.

Overall, the new Pulsar 125 brings changes to its design, features, suspension and engine. If Bajaj keeps the price increase under control, the new TFT-equipped variant could become an interesting option in the 125cc motorcycle segment.
