Bajaj Pulsar 125 Launches With Major Update, Prices Start at Rs. 92,990

Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Pulsar 125 in India with major updates. The motorcycle gets a new design, engine, frame, suspension, and modern features. However, Bajaj has retained the familiar Pulsar styling and sporty look.

The new Pulsar 125 starts at Rs. 92,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and goes up to Rs. 1,04,318. In addition, the top variant gets a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and navigation.

The new Pulsar 125 comes in four variants. Bajaj has kept the base version affordable, while the higher variants offer more features and a split seat setup.

The motorcycle is available in Dark Silver, Ebony Black Cyan Blue, Ebony Black Magenta Red, Fury Red and Saffire Blue. Therefore, buyers get both simple and sporty colour choices.

Pulsar 125 Gets New Design and Features

The new Pulsar 125 gets a sharper front design with a new LED headlight and DRLs. Bajaj has also updated the fuel tank, side panels and tail-light. As a result, the motorcycle gets a more modern appearance while keeping its Pulsar identity.

The base variant gets a new LCD console, while the top variant gets a 5-inch TFT display. Both consoles support smartphone connectivity, call and SMS alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation.

New Technology on Pulsar 125

The TFT version also gets music controls, Google Maps mirroring and document storage. In addition, the motorcycle gets a USB Type-C charging port, hazard light button and silent starter.

This Bajaj bike also offers Road, Rain and Sport riding modes. Perhaps these modes can give riders more control in different riding conditions.

New Engine and Monoshock Setup

The Pulsar 125 uses a new 125cc air-cooled engine that produces 12.1 PS and 11.4 Nm. It comes with a five-speed gearbox.

Bajaj has also updated the frame and replaced the earlier twin-shock setup with a monoshock rear suspension. The bike gets a telescopic front fork, front disc brake and rear drum brake with CBS.

New Pulsar 125 Takes on Rivals

The new Pulsar 125 competes with the TVS Raider 125, Honda SP 125 and Hero Glamour X 125. However, its new engine, monoshock setup and TFT display give it a stronger feature package.
