MS Dhoni Brings Home TVS Ronin Bike: All the Reasons Why You Should too!

MS Dhoni, India's former cricket team's captain, has recently brought home the new TVS Ronin. If you weren’t aware already, the former captain is a huge bike fanatic and has added TVS Ronin to his already quite vast motorcycle and automobile collection.

Mahi was the brand ambassador of the TVS Star City commuter bike when he was in the Indian cricket squad. And now, TVS Ronin has joined Mahi’s garage full of bikes and cars. Mahi has over 100 motorcycles right now, including X132 Hellcat, Rajdoot, Suzuki Shogun, Yamaha RX100, Kawasaki Ninja H2, Yamaha RD350, a few Harley Davidson, Ducati, etc.

This won’t be the first time he has opted for an eco-friendly automobile. Dhoni was recently spotted driving Kia EV6, popularly known for being among the most EVs on the Indian market. 

TVS Ronin Bike Price, Features & Specifications

TVS Ronin is a cruiser motorcycle starting at a price tag of Rs 1,49,000 in India. TVS offers Ronin in 3 variants and 6 various colour options. The premium variant price starts at Rs 1,68,750 in India. The bike comes with a 225.9cc BS6 engine, generating 20.1 BHP and 19.93 NM of torque. Ronin has an anti-lock braking system with front and rear disc brakes. The bike weighs 159 kg and has a 14-litre fuel tank.

The new Ronin 225 is TVS Motor’s first neo-retro scambler-style bike. It has 3 variants, distinguished by their colour variations. Users can select between single-tone, dual-tone and triple-tone models.

A 225cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled motor with a power output of 20.1bhp at 7,750 rpm and a peak torque of 19.93Nm at 3,750 rpm are among the technical features of TVS Ronin. The five-speed transmission is connected to the engine. Inverted front forks, a mono-shock with a preload adjustment range of seven steps, a 300mm front disc, and a 240mm rear disc are among the parts.
