Leaked: Hero Xtreme 200R Design Patent - Competing Apache 200 4V

New Hero Xtreme 200R patent picture is out, or should we say leaked! The leaked pictures tell a different story. It looks like this new bike will have revised styling and be giving close competition to Apache RTR 200 & Pulsar NS200.  

The Xtreme 200R is getting upgraded by Hero MotoCorp. Earlier, poor sales caused the discontinuation of this model in the market. Now the manufacturer has filed for a design patent to relaunch this bike with an upgraded version. We have heard that this upcoming beast will have a 200 cc engine. The design of this bike explains how it intends to be the beefier Xtreme 160R model. Hoping that this new model will fill up the holes left by the former Xtreme 200R.

Technical Specifications - What to Expect!

• This upcoming Hero motorcycle and Hero Xtreme 160R are quite similar in terms of overall dimensions and looks. 
• This model’s exhaust system looks like it’s been taken from the 2023 Hero Xpulse 200T model. 
• We are anticipating that Hero will provide a 4-valve engine this time, and this model will output 19 hp of power & 17 Nm of torque.
• We also feel the model will have a five-speed gearbox paired to its engine.
• Compared to Xtreme 160R, the Hero 200cc bike’s shroud and headlamp might have a more improved appearance. 
• Moreover, its wide handlebar, rear-set footpegs, side panels, seat, and impressive fuel tank design will definitely match Hero Xtreme 160R. 
• Also, this improved design’s wider panels across the back seat and a large belly pan will as well set it apart from Xtreme 160R.
• A telescopic fork and a mono-shock unit are expected to be used for the front and rear suspension, respectively. 
• The model may have disc brakes at the front and rear, followed by 17-inch alloy wheels.

Hero Xtreme 200R Close Competitors

This powerful bike is soon hitting the market to give close competition to — Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V (Can’t deny this! Look at the high engine power it is believed to hit the market with).

Hero MotoCorp hasn’t officially revealed any information on this upcoming bike’s mechanicals and explicit technical features. According to sources, this improved bike might retail for Rs. 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
