International Trade Fair & Moto GP India Grand Prix to be Held in Greater Noida This Week

Greater Noida is all set to host 2 of the biggest events this week - UP International Trade Fair & Moto GP India Grand Prix between September 21 and 25. Both of these mega-events are going to be seeing heavy footfall. During the events, educational institutions will remain closed in Gautam Buddha Nagar. 

As per the official statement released by the district administration, the schools will be closed on 21st September after 2 PM. On 22nd September, there will be an off for all the schools of all the boards from nursery to class 12. 

UP International Trade Show 2023 (Greater Noida)

Date & Venue

The International Trade Fair is scheduled from September 21 - September 25 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. 

Timings for the Event

Business Hours - 11 AM - 3 PM

General Public Hours - 3 PM - 8 PM

Visitors are also advised to plan ahead their entries to UPITS 2023 from 11 AM to 2 PM on September 21. 

Moto GP India Grand Prix

Date & Venue

Moto GP India Grand Prix will be held at the Buddha International Circuit (BIC), Greater Noida, starting from 22nd September to 24th September. 

Races & Timings 

The BIC tracks will host all the races, with bike stunts adding excitement between the racing events scheduled from Friday to Sunday.

Schedule

Friday - The first practice race of the event will start at 9:30 AM.

Saturday - Practice races on Saturday will start at 9 AM.

Sunday - Practice races on Sunday will start at 11 AM.

Sunday - The main race is scheduled for 3:30 PM on Sunday.

As informed by the organisers, the stands for spectators will be open an hour before the first race starts. Approximately 50,000 tickets have already been sold, and the numbers are only likely to rise. 

A Few Things to Keep A Note of - 

1. MotoGP Bharat's first edition promises more than just thrilling races. Expect entertainment, music, food, and celebrity sightings. This marks BIC's return to major motorsport events since the 2011-2013 Formula 1 races.

2. Get to the event hassle-free with paid cab services offered in partnership with BookMyShow and Mojo Box, the official ticketing and travel partners. Shuttles are also available from metro stations and Aerocity.

3. If you're driving, paid parking is available at the venue. We're working closely with Noida police to ensure smooth visitor entry.

4. Don't miss the chance to see iconic leather race suits worn by past champions like Valentino Rossi.

5. Enjoy race-themed installations, meet global riders in the fan zone, indulge in a food festival, and even join in a game of gully cricket before the race.
