The electric two-wheeler market of India continued to witness a strong momentum in October 2025, crossing 1.43 Lakh units in sales. The growing need for affordable & efficient electric scooters and bikes underlines the movement of the country toward cleaner mobility. The following is mainly a result of leading manufacturers such as Bajaj, TVS, & Ather Energy. Henceforth, this makes October one of the strongest months of the year in terms of EV two-wheeler sales.

Bajaj Auto leads India's electric two-wheeler market in October 2025, clocking 21.8% market share with sales of 31,202 units. Consistent efforts to expand the reach for its Chetak electric scooter have helped the company pip its rivals. A strong dealership network, better availability, and increasing demand in smaller cities are some reasons behind its success.

The nearest competitor to Bajaj was TVS Motor, which had an overall market share of 20.6% with a sale of 29,492 units, largely dependent on its practical & fuel efficient iQube scooter.
Ather Energy has secured third position with a 19.6% share & 28,082 units due to its focus on advanced features and fast charging.
• Once a leader in the market, Ola Electric slowed down at 11.2% with 16,034 units sold.
• Hero MotoCorp Vida lineup stood firm with an 11.1% share at 15,935 units on the back of strong demand in urban centers.
Greaves Electric Mobility had a 5.3% share with 7,629 units sold, while BGauss Auto reached 2% with 2,927 units sold. Others included PurEnergy India and River Mobility with 1.2% and 1.1%, respectively, moving upwards in the competitive electric vehicle arena.
The overall performance in October reflects the accelerating shift of India toward electric mobility. Innovation, better range, and development of charging infrastructure are the key focus areas of major brands. The EV two-wheeler market in the country is going to show even better growth in the coming months.
