Hero MotoCorp, along with its electric brand VIDA, has revealed the VIDA Novus portfolio at EICMA 2025 in Milan. This new range shows the company’s vision for the future, one that focuses on sustainable, smart, and connected mobility. Hero aims to make electric travel more practical, safe, and exciting for everyday users.
The NEX 3 is an all-weather personal EV that combines the safety of four wheels with the versatility needed for both city and rural roads.
Together, these three models highlight Hero and VIDA’s efforts to explore new forms of electric mobility that go beyond traditional scooters and motorcycles.
Hero MotoCorp also introduced a few concept models that show what’s next for the brand. The VIDA Ubex concept, short for Urban Explorer, is the company’s first electric motorcycle concept. It is built on a modular platform and comes with smart connectivity features, which allow it to handle multiple terrains.
In addition, the company showcased the Project VxZ, developed in partnership with Zero Motorcycles from the USA. This project hints at Hero’s move towards high-performance electric bikes in the future.
VIDA’s sales performance has been impressive. In October 2025, the company sold 15,934 units, which marks a 117% growth compared to last year. Between January and October, VIDA sold 86,084 units, and it is expected to cross the 1,00,000 unit mark this year. Since November 2022, VIDA has delivered over 1.41 lakh e-scooters in total, with the VIDA V2 and VIDA VX2 driving much of this success.
